The Boot House at Jester House!!

There is a BOOT House over the road at Jester House.
A man called Steve had the idea and got along side some fellows to make the BOOT House to his design.
They planned and they designed and they made the BOOT House.
It is just for adults to have a romantic stay away from children.

The BOOT House is made exactly like a boot is. With laces and sole, stitching and polish.

We asked permission to visit. Kingston wrote emails to Steve and Judy. We were blessed to see in. Steve showed us around. We took off our shoes and just loved all that we saw.

William loved the outside shape and design.
Lily Rose loved the twirly  wirly stair case.
Jonah loved the chimney on the outside.
Lily Lee loved the blue things in the garden.
Mia loved how the stairs went zig zag.
Hannah Rose and Ashley liked the outside shape of the composting toilet. It was big and grand like a throne.
Elijah liked how the wood was stacked up by the fire place.
Lily Rose loved the big bed and the zig zag cover.
Reiahumanaru loved the love heart chair.

Inside the House.
There is a cupboard and it is full of cleaning stuff!
In the bathroom there is a shower for two people!! And a composting toilet.

We looked in it and saw sawdust.
You go around a curvy stair case to get upstairs. There is one Big Bed. There are heart shapes every where, even heart shape chocolates on the bed pillows. The lights are hidden in the walls.
In the kitchen there is a Shoe House teapot and other shoe shapes. One is a silver shoe money box. There is a fire place and the chimney goes outside, like in the picture.
Outside is so like a real boot. There are eyelets and laces, stitching and the sole has the real markings. The concrete pad is in the shape of a foot. It has one big toe and four little toes.

For shelter there is a wall in the shape of a shoe sole.
It is clever how the BOOT House is hidden. People can stay and no one is going to be looking. No children allowed.

The BOOT House is Bigger and Better and more Beautiful than we thought. We loved seeing the Boot House.

Matariki
Star biscuits were made and eaten. Yum Yum Yummy !!

The Rain came down and the floods came up. Look at the rain gauge, it was full to over flowing. We ate lunch inside with Room2. It was like a Big Long dinner party.

I will see you again soon!!

Dear Room 1!!

I have only got one more week in Peru, and then I am coming back to New Zealand! After the holidays, I will see you at School and I will be your teacher again! I am really looking forward to seeing you all again! What are you all doing for the holidays?

Do you want to see a few more photos?

I hope you all have a really nice holiday!

Love from Miss Mansell xoxox

Look at this restaurant! I wanted to eat at the top but Fern and Bethany didn't want to, so we didn't!

Here is Bethany and I at a resturant. Bethany is going to teach in the class when I come back to NZ.

Look! Here is Bethany saving Fern! But they are just pretending!

Me flying!

Here are some posters that I put up in the class. Do you know what they are for?

Here is a big Bible on the wall! The children learn verses from the Bible.

Here is a poster of the kids at the sports day!

Look at how many stickers these children have! At the bottom is if they are naughty. If they are naughty once, they get one sad face and that is a warning. If they are naughty again, they get another sad face and they have to stay in at break time for 5 minutes and if they are naughty again they get another sad face, and they have to go to the office and sit there and miss out. It’s good to get stickers, but it’s not good to get sad faces.

This is me and Arom.

Bethany and I with some of the kids in our class!

We made crosses and put them in the window. They look really good when the sun shines through!

This is Maggie. She lives at Fern's place.

There was a mouse in our house!

We caught it in the trap!

We are playing fuse ball! It was lots of fun!

I’m at the market on a Sunday afternoon! I was sooo thirsty, so I bought a coconut. The lady made a hole in the top and she put a straw in it and I drank up all the juice that was inside. It was very yummy!
